Dear Members,
It is one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year for our ICS team as we prepare for our Annual Event on December 13th 2015.
This year’s event theme is RAAGA BEATS!
The main idea of the theme is to get a peek into the diversity of the classical raagas, elaborating on how the different combinations of musical notes evoke a particular sentiment or creates a mood of the time of day.
Many thanks to our talented group pf choreographers who have graciously volunteered their time.

Annual Show “Raaga Beats”
Our event will be two part as always, the first part comprising of ICS dances followed by a scrumptious dinner, and a theater production by ICS, “Its About Time!”
ICS provides free Child-care for Post Dinner entertainment. If interested, please fill out this form before Nov 14th, but remember to stop by at the last table to fill in your seat #s!!

Any event of this scale requires community support – so we encourage each one of you to send in ads – business, or personal – for our brochure. Remember this glossy publication is read by our members and by other sponsors – an amazing way to reach out and connect with a wide audience.

Vendor stalls:
Our new BIG THING! We invite you – members and non-members – to set up vendor stalls to showcase your business (except food). It’s a perfect time to draw over 600 people at your table, or display magnificent products – jewelry or clothing anyone?
And all at an extremely nominal fee!

Boosters:
As always, we will dedicate a page in our brochure for your shout-outs to our talented kids or anyone else you would like to recognize! Its $5 per booster. Once you fill out the form, you will be given information on where to send your payment.

ICS Graduating Senior Awards:
Email us if you have a graduating high school senior (not participating in the dance) who would like to receive an ICS Seniors’ Plaque. Contact: indianculturalsocietynj@gmail.com with child’s full name.
Volunteering for ICS:
NOTE: Volunteer hours will be credited to high school students for helping on the day of the event. Dance participants are eligible to get 10 volunteer hours as students participating in a cultural event promoting their heritage.
