ICS Theatre is very honored to be part of 12th South Asian Festival (SATF). This will be our third production at the festival. Over the years, SATF broadened its mission to showcase and underscore the importance of South Asian theater within the community and in the larger context of mainstream American culture. It has also tried to be a conduit that connects the emerging trends and thoughts of theater in India with the Indian diaspora in the US. In this process, SATF espouses to support all intercultural and multicultural endeavors.

Late 19th Century Russian characters are transposed to 21st Century India! The whole range of Chekhov’s delightfully comic characters come alive once again in this new and free adaptation of some of his greatest short stories.
